1. Lotwork Standard Warranty Policy
a. The Lotwork Standard Warranty is complimentary for every Lotwork product at the time of purchase, starts on the day the end-user receives the product, and cannot be extended.
b. The coverage period of Lotwork Standard Warranty may vary depending on the type of hardware. Please find the warranty duration in the attached Product Warranty List below.
c. Lotwork Standard Warranty protects against defects in materials and workmanship when the product is used normally and in accordance with Lotwork's published guidelines.
d. With Lotwork's prior authorization, clients are responsible for shipping defective items to our service depot, covering all associated costs and risks during transportation.
e. Lotwork will handle the return shipment to the end-user client, except if Lotwork determines, at its sole discretion, that the hardware is defect-free or not under warranty. In such cases, the end-user client is responsible for the return shipment. There are no charges for warranty repairs incurred by the end-user client.
2. General
a. Lotwork's sole responsibility for defective hardware is to repair or replace it, subject to Lotwork's discretion.
b. Users are responsible for properly maintaining and using the ring scanner according to the provided guidelines.
c. This warranty is not transferable and is only valid for end-users who have been registered with Lotwork.
3. Exclusions from the Lotwork Standard Warranty
a. Consumable parts, such as batteries or protective coatings, that are designed to diminish over time, unless failure has occurred due to a defect in materials or workmanship.
b. Cosmetic damage, including but not limited to scratches, dents and broken plastic on ports unless failure has occurred due to a defect in materials or workmanship.
c. Damage caused by use with a third-party component or product.
d. Damage caused by accident, abuse, misuse, fire, earthquake or other external cause.
e. Damage caused by service (including upgrades and expansions) performed by anyone who is not a representative of Lotwork.
f. Defects caused by normal wear and tear or otherwise due to the normal aging of the Lotwork Product.
g. If any serial number has been removed or defaced from the Lotwork Product.
h. If the user cannot prove in any way that the user is the authorized user of the product (e.g. by presenting proof of purchase).
